This under gravel filter uses the same uplift assembly as Lee's^® Original Under Gravel Filters. Most economical of Lee's^® three under gravel filters styles, yet includes fish-saver elbow, Slim Discard-A-Stone, and Original Carbon Cartridge. Available in rectangular shape only. All sizes are of single-plate design except for the 40/55 gallon (13030) which has 2 plates. Additional uplift tubes may be purchased separately.

The Ultum Nature Systems Atomizer Mist Maker is an ultrasonic mister designed to emulate jungle-like conditions for tropical terrestrials and aquatic plant species grown emergent. Atomizer produces a gentler layer of fog to increase humidity levels and support healthy plant growth. The Ultum Nature Systems Atomizer Splash Guard is an optional accessory that may be used with the Atomizer Mist Maker to reduce splashing and prevent water spills during use. The Atomizer Mist Maker Set is recommended for use with aquariums that have emergent aquatic plant growth or paludarium setups that feature plant species that require higher humidity.

Needle leaf ludwigia is a beautiful plant with delicate green and red leaves. This is an easy plant to keep that adds movement and dimension to the aquarium. Needle leaf plants have thin, pointed leaves that grow in opposite pairs along the whole length of the stem. The leaves can be green or red depending on the amount of iron available in the water. If pruned frequently, this plant will branch out and provide a bushy filler for the mid- or background of your tank.  

Vallisneria Americana is a popular background plant for any aquarium.  This plant grows fast and tall, spreading quickly to cover your aquarium.  The leaves are long like other Vallisneria species and grow in a twisted shape which can have a spectacular effect when fully grown in.  

This plant is said to tolerate some levels of salinity so may be able to survive in a brackish environment.  Propagation is easy and straight forward. This plant will produce lateral shoots which can be cut and replanted.
