The long fin Yellow Ram Cichlid (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi var. “Gold”) is a striking variant of the ever-popular German Blue Ram Dwarf Cichlid. It has an overall bright yellow/gold coloration that is adorned with neon blue and red highlights across many areas of its body. As with many dwarf cichlids, males generally boast the most intense coloration, especially during spawning. However, unlike many dwarf cichlid species, females are also extremely colorful.
The Tiger Oscar is a very popular black and red-orange variant of the classic Tiger Oscar.
The Tiger Oscar (Astronotus ocellatus), also known as the Marble Cichlid or Velvet Cichlid, is a large South American cichlid species that needs little to no introduction. It is one of the most popular and beloved fish in the entire aquarium hobby, and with good reason. It has beautiful markings, is extremely hardy and unfussy in every way, and is easily a centerpiece fish in any large aquarium. It grows to a substantial, but manageable size and is one of the most interactive fish when it comes to paying attention to its keeper.
The Yellow Ingot cichlid is a hybrid aquarium fish species. Produced by crossing the midas cichlid (Amphilophus citrinellus)and the synspilum cichlid (Paraneetroplus synspilus), the blood parrot cichlid's genetic mixture has left the fish with a combination of unique physical traits.
Yellow Ingot Cichlids are beautiful, albeit controversial, freshwater fish. These fish are not found in the wild. Instead, they are a hybrid fish species that was first created in Taiwan around 1986.
The exact species used to create the Yellow Parrot Cichlid are not known. However, many think that the Redhead Cichlid (Paraneetroplus synspilus) and Midas Cichlid (Amphilophus citrinellus) are the parent species.
A typical lifespan of a healthy Blood Parrot Cichlid is between 10 and 15 years.
Blood Parrot Cichlids are a unique-looking fish, which is one of main reasons they’re so popular in the aquarium scene.
Albino Red OB Peacock cichlids come in 2 colors, often featuring, red, white. This species is dimorphic, with males developing a mixed and spotted coloration, while females keep a black and silver coloring (while developing a spotted morph).
Expect to maintain a minimum 55-gallon tank for peacock cichlids, with some adults requiring 100 gallons or more to flourish. We don’t consider peacock cichlids either plant or reef compatible. They thrive with a low level of care and may produce eggs if you keep a male and female together.
O.B. peacock cichlids may live up to 15 years. Aquarium experts consider the species very hardy and rate them as semi-aggressive to aggressive with other aquatic animals.
Our Peacock are about of 4" - 5". Aulonocara baenschi get their trade name of Sunshine Peacock from the bright yellow bodies that males exhibit. These fish live over scattered rocks and a sandy substrate on the Nkhomo Reef near the town of Benga, Malawi.

Our Peacock are about of 4" - 5". Nimbochromis fuscotaeniatus are found in the southern and western parts of lake Malawi. They are predatory fish and will eat anything that can fit in their mouths. Their primary targets are juvenile mbuna. Like other Nimbochromis species, they should not be kept with small cichlids as they are piscivorous by nature.
The Hap Compressiceps, also referred to as the Malawi Eye-biter, is endemic throughout Lake Malawi in shallow waters around submerged vegetation. The majority of specimens within the aquarium trade are now commercially produced, however; it is rare to encounter wild imported Hap Compressiceps for sale. Though this fish is readily referred to as a Hap, which is short for Haplochromis, the Hap Compressiceps is actually classified within the genus Dimidiochromis.
The AB strawberry peacock / AB fire red cichlid is a brightly colored fresh water from the south of Lake Malawi. It is part of the Cichlidae family and is a favorite amongst aquarists.
Although strawberry peacock cichlids are classified as semi-aggressive, the fish are calm most of the time. These cichlids are popular due to their colorful appearance.
Star Sapphires (Placidochromis sp. Phenochilus Tanzania) are a close relative of the Mdoka White Lip, though these fish do not grow the signature white lips. Instead, males will be covered in light blue sparkles, reminding us of an elegant constellation embedded in a sapphire gemstone.
Scientific Name: Placidochromis sp. Phenochilus Tanzania
For all Red fish, we recommend you to feed them red color enhancer food to maintain their beautiful red color. If not, it can fading off a bit
Blood RED PARROT Cichlids are beautiful, albeit controversial, freshwater fish. These fish are not found in the wild. Instead, they are a hybrid fish species that was first created in Taiwan around 1986.
