Discus Fish
Discus are members of the Family Cichlidae and are sometimes referred to as "King of the Aquarium" because of their majestic beauty and regal colors. At least three species have been described, although debate continues over the validity of several assigned scientific names. Wild caught discus can be challenging to keep, due to their specialized water chemistry and dietary needs, however, most discus sold today are captive bred and are much easier to keep. That said, they are not for beginners for a variety of reasons.

The red panda discus has a body that sports a checkerboard design with solid irregularly shaped red lines imprinted on the body's white backgrounds. The overall coloration of Discus will vary depending on mood and overall health of the fish. Discus are among the most popular aquarium fish.
Discus originate from a habitat of shaded water with branches and other dense cover and this habitat should be duplicated in the aquarium. High quality water conditions (warm, soft, acidic) must be maintained.
Becoming slightly territorial when breeding, it is best to breed an established pair, or maintain a group of young Discus and allow them to pair themselves. Warm, soft, slightly acidic water is required for spawning. The pair will clean a flat surface (usually a broad leaf or the side of the aquarium) prior to spawning. The parents must not be removed from the fry; the fry feed on their parents' mucus.
Largely carnivorous, Symphysodon spp. prefers freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex, pellet food designed for discus, high-quality flake food, and meaty frozen foods.
Leopard Snake Skin Discus are omnivorous and require a balanced diet. They can be fed high-quality flakes, pellets, and granules specifically formulated for discus fish. Supplementing their diet with frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia is recommended to provide essential protein and nutrients. The Leopard Snake Skin Discus is a highly desired fish variety due to its unique and captivating combination of leopard spots and snake-like patterns. However, proper care, including suitable tank conditions, consistent water parameters, and a balanced diet, is necessary for their successful keeping and optimal health.
AB Golden diamond is known for their bright honey golden bodies and sometime with a touch of red on their fringes. This strain has no more than 3 colors in its entire color scheme: orange-yellow, red, and a touch of white. For the enthusiast that wants to have a full array of specimens in their tank, this strain may be a good fit.
Smooth bold colors resemble a sunset on the beach. These fish have brushstrokes of white resembling clouds in the sky on a warm beach evening. With hints reds accenting their outer edges, glimmering effortlessly as they glide in your tank. A excellent contrast to your other discus with dense patterns. The specimens have three colors yellow orange red with a touch of white. Their most interesting characteristic is there dense red colored eyes. Some fish keeper enjoy a full pronounced bodied pattern. Others enjoy a “fadeaway” effect where the pattern begins to disappear towards the tail of the fish.
This peaceful strain has reddish-orange eyes and a gorgeous bright-yellow checkerboard pattern over a white to cream base color. The tail is clear with subtle touches of yellow or orange. The dorsal and caudal fins may have a black edge. The overall coloration is breathtaking

The Snakeskin discus came into creation in 1994 when two Malaysian breeders (along with others) discovered that they had discus displaying 14 stress bars, rather than the usual 9. This is one of the many strains of discus that through genetic mutation have produced a reproducible color variation of the Discus fish. This strain Discus aquariums should closely resemble their natural Amazonian habitat with plenty of plants and branching root or driftwood. Water parameters should be very consistent with a pH near 6.5 to 7.2, temperature between 80° to 86° Fahrenheit with low to medium water currents. Discus can thrive in a wider range of water parameters as long as the changes are not sudden and the fish has adequate time to adjust to changing parameters. Reflection D Discus should not be housed with aggressive or boisterous fish species or in aquariums with intense lighting or strong water currents.

Red cover black rim or normally called red cover discus fall into the same family as the Fiamma Rossa, Virgin Red, Marlboro Red, and San Merah discus. This fish has Alenquer genetics, and the shade of their red is more brown in color than their other red discus counterparts.

Red cover blue rim fall into the same family as the Fiamma Rossa, Virgin Red, Marlboro Red, and San Merah discus. This fish is a very rare and special fish, only couple out of a batch of this strain have the blue rim. The breeder said every 100 fishes, he only able to get 1 blue rim, and the shade of their red is more brown in color than their other red discus counterparts.
