The zebra pleco is a species of catfish endemic to a small section of the Rio Xingu in Brazil. It occurs in the big bend area of the river, downstream from the town of Altamira, Para. It was first described in 1991. It gets its name from its black and white stripes, resembling the colouration of a zebra.

The Least Rasbora is native to southern Thailand, particularly the Sai Buri river in Pattani province, with populations also documented in Vietnam and Cambodia. These small fish thrive in swamps, marshes, and ponds rich with aquatic vegetation and prefer clear water conditions. During the wet season, they naturally migrate into flooded areas, making them adaptable to dynamic freshwater environments. Their preference for densely planted tanks with gentle water flow makes them an excellent choice for naturalistic aquascapes.
Peaceful and somewhat shy due to their diminutive size, Least Rasboras display a timid nature and should be kept separately from other tropical fish species. As a shoaling fish, they thrive in groups of at least 10-12 specimens, which provides comfort and encourages natural behavior. In groups, males display their most vibrant colors while competing for female attention, creating a visually striking display. These fish typically occupy the lower-middle to middle water column of planted tanks, making them ideal for aquascapes with layered vegetation.

As a peaceful and adaptable species, Lemon Tetra is a valuable addition to any community fish tank. Boasting vibrant colors and easy care, it is a must-have for fish enthusiasts. In the wild, it forms large schools or shoals to protect against predators, while in the aquarium its active nature and distinctive tail stripe pattern bring life to the middle and upper levels, making it a popular choice among planted tank hobbyists and aquascapers.
This highly coveted angelfish variety develops a striking bright SILVER WITH BLACK mark across the body as it matures!
The leopard Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare), is an incredible variant that naturally displays silver coloration over the classic "leopard" striping that is characteristic of the wild coloration. Juveniles often do not display much of the black stripes coloration, but will develop it generously as they grow and approach maturity. This shoaling cichlid is relatively peaceful compared to other members of the cichlid family. It also has a very thin, tall body unlike most other cichlids. The Leopard Angelfish is indigenous to several river systems in Northern South America, but virtually all specimens in the aquarium hobby have been tank-raised for generations.
The Leopard Angelfish will thrive in a heavily planted aquarium with driftwood and/or rock formations and gentle water flow. It is not overly reclusive, but this fish strongly prefers the cover of plants and, due to its body shape, is not likely to seek refuge in rock caves and similar structures. It is generally compatible with other peaceful fish as long as it has plenty of space. Territoriality is typically at its peak during spawning. Dwarf shrimp and other small, delicate invertebrates should not be kept with the leopard Angelfish, but more durable, larger shrimp and snails could possibly make good tank mates in a large enough aquarium. If spawning is desired, tank mates of other species should be kept to a minimum or avoided altogether unless the aquarium is very spacious.
Feeding is simple for the unfussy Leopard. High-quality dry, frozen, and live foods will all be readily accepted. Quality and variety are the keys to a diet that will ensure that this fish maintains optimal health and coloration.
We are currently offering juvenile specimens of this magnificent angelfish variety!
LEOPARD PLECO belong to the Loricariid family; however, they fall under the Pterygoplichthys genus. If you’ve not come across that category before, it’s a family of South American armored catfish Plecos are an incredibly unique freshwater fish that will draw attention in any tank.
These large, interesting-looking fish are quite popular among aquarists for obvious reasons. Not only do they bring a neat aesthetic to the tank, but they’re low-maintenance as well!
Leopard Puffers are pufferfish that inhabit a wide range of territories in the wild. This includes Southeast Asia, Southern Asia, and Africa. More specifically, they’ve been found in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and China. Within these various regions, they inhabit freshwater and brackish bodies of water, such as streams, rivers, and estuaries.
Leopard Puffers have a yellow-green body and a white-colored belly. Their body is covered in black spots of various size. Therefore, these fish are also known as Green Spotted Puffer. They become more brightly colored as they mature. They have a round body shape, large eyes, and a tiny mouth. The females tend to be more round than the males. The males also have darker black spots. The difference between males and females becomes more obvious as they mature
The leopard turtoise, native to South Africa, Ethiopia, and Somalia, is one of the largest tortoises. It gets its name from the markings on its shell that resemble the large spotted cat with the same name.
Like other tortoises, leopard tortoises are slow, quiet, and not aggressive. They're generally good-natured animals and not the most exciting of pets.
While a larger tortoise may mistake a finger for food, leopard tortoises are not known for biting people. They do not fancy frequently handling. If they feel threatened, they will likely retreat into their shells in their defense.
Unlike some other tortoise species, leopard tortoises aren't known to be climbers and don't burrow all that much. In the wild, males can get aggressive with other males during mating season, but in captivity, leopard tortoises are relatively docile.
They're not ideal for novice owners as they are somewhat high-maintenance compared to other tortoises. They need a large living space, protection from cool temperatures, and a varied, nutritious diet.
WORMER X™ is a treatment for ornamental fish infected with parasitic round worms (nematodes) worms. This medication contain Levamisole HCl as main active ingridient. It can be used in a water bath or to prepare medicated feed. Worms can live in the digestive tract or muscle tissue of the sh. In most cases worms will not be visible and infection can be confirmed by microscopic examination of fish excretion. In other cases, adult worms will be seen protruding from the fish anus.
Indication of use Treatment of fish infected with parasitic nematodes (round worms), such as Capillaria, pentastomes, Acanthocephalan, Camallanus, discus maggot…etc. To treat flat worms like flukes or tape worms you need to use FLUKE X™
Before use
• Read the full user guide carefully and apply all the recommended instructions.
• A recommended hospital tank will only contain an air stone for aeration and a heater if needed.
• Daily water change should be adopted as means of controlling water quality during treatment. Adding water conditioner that binds and neutralize chlorine AND ammonia is highly recommended.
• It is recommended to stop feeding, during the treatment if you still want to feed or must feed, do it lightly and keep more attention to siphoning away any food or fish waste daily, also in this case you MUST be using water conditioner that binds and neutralize chlorine AND ammonia.
• Always start by cleaning the aquarium, whipping the glass and having clean treated water at the correct conditions for the fish.
• In case you still treat in a display tank follow these steps to increase the success rate and reduce risk. Wipe the glass surface, siphon the substrate, and any waste accumulated under or around décor, filter media…etc.
• Take care when cleaning the filter media not to do it with chlorinated water or any cleaning agent, or over cleaning it in a way that will remove most or all the beneficial bacteria(biofilm). Some products will directly kill the filter bacteria, such products will have a warning on the back of the package.
Method of use
Use one level measure of the included spoon (1 gram) for every 75 Liters (16.5 US gal). After 24 hours make 70-100% water change and add and replace the medicine according to the amount of new water only. To mix the powder properly, use a water bottle to shake the powder some aquarium water, then distribute it evenly over the water or pour it in a high flow area (ex: pump return).
Repeat the above steps for 2 days. Then after 12 days from ending the treatment, repeat the course again.
Professional use: In hospital tanks, with no feeding and when using water treatment product to neutralize ammonia a single dose can be extended to 48 hours.
Discus X disease prevention philosophy
• This procedure is applied successfully in Discus X Farm facility to prophylactically clean breeding stock before adding to the central filtered breeding system.
• Following this method will ensure a more enjoyable hobby in your main display aquarium, free of reoccurring fish health issues like not growing properly, dull coloration, loss of appetite or even death.
• This happens because we allowed many types of external and/or internal parasites to enter and live in our main tank, and will be ready to cause disease in at any time the fish are stressed due to water conditions, bullying, heavy parasite load, infection pressure … etc.
• Thus, Discus X recommends aquarium professionals as well as keen to always apply our QT kit Procedure using our QT kit PRO on any new fish in hospital tank prior introduction to display aquarium, fish room ...etc. to achieve the above results.
Precaution and storage information Store in a cool (room temperature) dry place, don’t place in a fridge to avoid water condensation on and inside the package in humid environments.
