PINOCHIO shrimp, known for its distinctive red and white stripes and ted nose, is a popular choice for plant aquarium tank. these shrimp are a good algae eater.
Common Name:Â Water Lettuce
Water Lettuce is a well recognized floating plant that is frequently used in ponds as well as aquariums. It is popular among shrimp keepers as well since the long roots drape into the aquarium and provide plenty of coverage and bio film to the shrimp. Its also a fast growing plant that can absorb nitrates making it suitable for tanks with inhabitants that are sensitive to water parameters. Â
The leaves are soft with a velvet texture and the plant bears resemblance to open heads of lettuce. Â It can be propagated by forming at the end of stolons which extend outward from the mother plant. Water lettuce can block out light from plants below so only keep low light requirement plants in the same tank. It also inhibits algae growth to help maintain a clear aquarium.
The Platinum Angelfish is bred for its solid white colors.
Platinum Angelfish prefer a well planted aquarium with rocks and driftwood. They need plenty of room to swim so they should be housed in a 30 gallon aquarium or larger. The water in the aquarium should be slightly acidic.
The Platinum Angelfish feeds on a variety of foods including vegetables, as well as meaty foods. A quality flake food should be fed along with live and frozen foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms.
The platinum lyre molly, also called the silver lyre tail molly, displays a solid platinum body. The colors on these fish jump in the planted aquarium. These live bearers also make a good contract to any community aquarium tank.
Most mollies originate in North, Central and South America, where they reside in freshwater and brackish bodies of water. It is typically easy to tell the difference between males and females by the length and/or shape of their fins. These peaceful livebearers give birth to live young and can rapidly reproduce. Preferring to live in groups, mollies come in an array of colors, patterns and fin lengths. They readily adapt to changes in the water, making them a recommended species for beginning aquarists.

The gorgeously blue polar blue parrot cichlids result from artificial cross-breeding between two attractive cichlids. It is an unusual type of fish, so many aquarists want to own one.
They bring together the looks, power, and aggression of the convict cichlids and the parrot cichlids. Their breeding habits are not so different from their parents, and they are not hard to care for, similar to their cross-bred ancestors.
One main characteristic of these cichlids is that their structure is compact and not wide, making them easily adjustable inside the aquarium. Polar blue parrot cichlids are the cutest fishes with an appealing appearance with a blend of black stripes and a blue body.
Highly Effective & Safe Too!
For treatment of praziquantel-susceptible disease conditions in pond, freshwater and marine aquariums and ornamental pond fishes.
Start each treament or retreatment with as large a water change as practical (at least 30%) or start with new water. Any water used should first be conditioned with Ultimate® or a combination of Liquid Buffered ClorAm-X® and Stress-X™ to remove ammonia, chlorine and chloramines. Do not stop filtration, but remove activated carbon and stop foam-fractionation (protein skimming) and UV sterilization-failure to do so will render product ineffective. SHAKE VIGOROUSLY before use. Measure Liquid PraziPro® at the rate of one (1) teaspoon (~5mL) per 20 (76L) gallons of water to be treated (one [1] fl. oz. [29.5 mL] per 120 gallons [454L]). Care should be taken to treat the exact amount of water in the system. This means deductions for substrate, rock or coral and any other internal equipment is necessary. You can calculate the amount of water in your aquarium by taking a measurement of the length x width x depth of the area with water and dividing by 231 for approximate volume. This produces a concentration of 2.5 mg/L. Distribute the proper amount around the edge of the pond or aquarium or directly in to the filter box to achieve the best overall distribution. A single treatment lasting 5-7 days may be sufficient. Retreat as necessary, but no more than once every 3 days. May be used as a preventative, at the standard dosage, when disease is likely. Do not use with any other drugs or disease treatments. May cause noticeable temporary foaming. It's important to note that most parasites in the class that PraziPro® would be used for have up to a 28 day life cycle. This means for major issues, up to four (4), uninterrupted treatments may be required to resolve the issue. Over dosing will not speed impact.
DO NOT OVERDOSEÂ - this means you should calculate the actual amount of water in your tank by multiplying the length x width x height and dividing by 238 to get the true gallons. Please also deduct the amount of space consumed by substrate (gravel, sand, etc.) rock, decorations or other things which are displacing water.
NOTE: We do not recommend using any sulfur or sulfinite-based water conditioners with this product. If your normal water conditioner does not list the ingredients please verify with the maker that it does not contain these ingredients. If you notice any rotten egg smell to the product, it likely does have these ingredients and should be avoided as it could cause the product to be less effective and the dissolved oxygen levels to be negatively impacted.
Use Liquid PraziPro® any time unwanted parasites are noticed or introduction is probable.
Compatibilities: There are no known compatibility issues with the use of Liquid PraziPro® except for use in marine (saltwater) systems where flatworms of the Polycladida order are being cultured and when used where feather duster worms (sabellidae) or delicate worm-type relatives are kept. For heavily stocked aquariums or marine aquariums with lots of coral, added aeration is suggested.
Because we care: PraziPro® has been developed to offer assistance to aquarium or pond keepers who are encountering problems with unwanted worms or parasites and for ease of use by the user.
FLUKE Xâ„¢ is a highly effective and safe treatment for skin flukes, gill flukes (dactylogyrus) and tape worms. The active ingridient is Praziquantel. This product is pure and only a little amount is needed for effective treatment, therefore is very economic as well.
Indication of use Treatment of fish infected with parasitic at worms such as Dactylogyrus, Gyrodactylus, Planaria, tape worm…etc. Infection of ukes will cause fish to rub their body or gills against aquarium dĂ©cor, the gills may also be inflamed and abnormally open or one gill is completely shut. Tape worms may be seen protruding as white segmented string protruding out of the fish anus. To treat round worms like Capillaria and Camallanus you need to use WORMER Xâ„¢.
Before use
• Read the full user guide carefully and apply all the recommended instructions.
• A recommended hospital tank will only contain an air stone for aeration and a heater if needed.
• Daily water change should be adopted as means of controlling water quality during treatment. Adding water conditioner that binds and neutralize chlorine AND ammonia is highly recommended.
• It is recommended to stop feeding, during the treatment if you still want to feed or must feed, do it lightly and keep more attention to siphoning away any food or fish waste daily, also in this case you MUST be using water conditioner that binds and neutralize chlorine AND ammonia.
• Always start by cleaning the aquarium, whipping the glass and having clean treated water at the correct conditions for the fish.
• In case you still treat in a display tank follow these steps to increase the success rate and reduce risk. Wipe the glass surface, siphon the substrate, and any waste accumulated under or around dĂ©cor, filter media…etc.
• Take care when cleaning the filter media not to do it with chlorinated water or any cleaning agent, or over cleaning it in a way that will remove most or all the beneficial bacteria(biofilm). Some products will directly kill the filter bacteria, such products will have a warning on the back of the package.
Method of use
Use one level measure of the included spoon (0.5 gram) for every 25 gallon (95 liters) of aquarium water. If treating in main/display tank (not hospital tank) use 1 level spoon (0.5 gram) for every 50 gallon (190 Liters).
After 24 hours make 70-100% water change and add and replace the medicine according to the amount of new water only. To mix the powder properly, use a water bottle to shake the powder some aquarium water, then distribute it evenly over the water or pour it in a high flow area (ex: pump return).
Recommendation: add 1-2g/L salt along with FlukeX.
Repeat the above steps for 7-8 days. Then after 1 week from ending the treatment, repeat the full course again.
Professional use: In hospital tanks, with no feeding and when using water treatment product to neutralize ammonia a single dose can be extended to 48 hours.
Discus X disease prevention philosophy
• This procedure is applied successfully in Discus X Farm facility to prophylactically clean breeding stock before adding to the central filtered breeding system.
• Following this method will ensure a more enjoyable hobby in your main display aquarium, free of reoccurring fish health issues like not growing properly, dull coloration, loss of appetite or even death.
• This happens because we allowed many types of external and/or internal parasites to enter and live in our main tank, and will be ready to cause disease in at any time the fish are stressed due to water conditions, bullying, heavy parasite load, infection pressure … etc.
• Thus, Discus X recommends aquarium professionals as well as keen to always apply our QT kit Procedure using our QT kit PRO on any new fish in hospital tank prior introduction to display aquarium, fish room ...etc. to achieve the above results.
Precaution and storage information Store in a cool (room temperature) dry place, don’t place in a fridge to avoid water condensation on and inside the package in humid environments.

Method of use
Please use this table to identify the correct dose based on your water conditions
Caution: This step is very important; you need to know the pH and GH of your water to determine the safe dose level. Using a high dose than what is allowed based on your pH/GH level may cause serious damage or death to the fish. If in doubt or on the boarder go for the lower concentration.
Discus and koi short bath First step prepare dilute PROTECT X stock solution by dissolving 2 level spoons (included) or 2g -using weight measurement is much more accurate- of PROTECT X powder in one liter of water mix well until completely dissolved. Place the fish in a tub with clean water (with no chlorine or chloramine and without any chlorine removal chemicals) add an air stone for aeration. Add the amount indicated in the table above for every 10 liters.
Keep the fish in the bath for a maximum of 5 hours, keep an eye on the fish during this period. If you notice signs the fish can’t tolerate the bath anymore, remove it to its aquarium. This bath can be repeated daily up to 5 days.
Example If your water has pH 7.0 and GH = 6 dH, then the corresponding dose is 50ml from the stock solution to every 10 Liter. If your bath is 30L you will add 50ml for every 10L = 50x3 = 150ml.
Discus long bath Add 1 level spoon (included) or 1g PROTECT X powder to every 330L of aquarium water. This will produce a concentration of 3mg/L. Use this bath for 24hrs followed by at least 90% water change and can be repeated up to 4 consecutive days.
Other ornamental fish PROTECT X has not been tested extensively on other ornamental fish so it is advised to practice caution, try lower concentration first and keep an eye on the fish. At first signs of distress end the treatment. Here again water hardness as well as pH are two important parameters to consider to adapt the concentration to your own conditions. Always make a small test first.
OTHER APPLICATIONS Tank disinfection During the production stops, it is of major importance to thoroughly clean and disinfect the tanks and ponds when they are empty to avoid contamination of the next production lot. Start by cleaning to remove the organic matter and then disinfect by spraying or rinsing with a 1% PROTECT X solution (or with a 2% in case of heavy contamination). How to prepare 1-2% solution, dissolve 1 spoon (1g) for every 100ml water (for 2% use 2 spoons). Equipment disinfection Spray all equipment used in the fish farm with a 1% PROTECT X solution or dipped the equipment into the PROTECT X solution for 30 min. Net disinfection a 1-2% PROTECT X solution is used for net disinfection, with a contact time of 30 min.
pH Soft Water (GH <6°dH) ml/10L Hard Water (GH >6°dH) ml/10L 6.0 12.5 35 6.5 25 50 7.0 50 75 7.5 90 90 8.0 100 100
Stagnant fresh water ponds/storage tanks PROTECT X is added at a concentration of 3 ppm (3 g/1000L) once a week. Water pH and hardness are two important parameters to consider to optimize the PROTECT X concentration. As a rule, with acidic pH, a lower concentration should be used and with increasing water hardness, a higher PROTECT X concentration is recommended. Also, if using a biofilter in a recirculated water system, special attention must be taken. Fish egg disinfection To reduce surface contamination, fish eggs can be dipped in a 1 g/l PROTECT X solution for 1-5 min followed by a clean water wash. The time can change based on water condition and size of the eggs, it is better to do this dip in neutral to high pH and normal to hard water, rather than soft acidic water. Always start by the minimum time ad move upwards to get the maximum safe time.

The PURPLE Dragon is one of many unique color variety of Poecilia reticulata guppy developed through years of careful, selective breeding. This brilliantly colored fish showcases a stunning jewel-like dragon in red coloration, making it a coveted addition for guppy aficionados or any freshwater aquarium enthusiast specially with big dorsal .
The PURPLE Dragon RB requires an aquarium of at least 20 gallons in size. It is a very peaceful fish and should be housed with tank mates of similar temperament. Though the Red Dragon is a hardy fish tolerant of small changes in water parameters, care should be taken to keep water temperature, pH, and nutrient levels in check. This hardy and energetic fish makes an excellent fish for beginning hobbyists.
Guppies are relatively easy to breed even for the beginning aquarists. If you are interested in breeding guppies, the ideal aquarium should have a covering of floating plants and a breeding box to protect the fry. Adults may eat the fry if left to fend for themselves without the breeding box. The fry should be fed brine shrimp, micro food and pulverized flakes.
The PURPLEÂ Dragon RBÂ is an omnivore and requires both algae-based foods as well as meaty foods. An algae-based flake food, along with freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, and brine shrimp will provide guppies with the proper nutrition.
These fish are native to the freshwater Atrato and San Juan River basins of Colombia in South America. They frequent areas that are slow-moving, such as small tributaries and streams, where the temperature ranges from 73 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Though the emperor tetra is distributed over a narrow range in the wild, it has become a favorite aquarium pet and is farmed for sale around the world. As of 2014, the IUCN Red List (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) has insufficient data to determine the status of this species in its natural habitat in the wild; more research is needed. In captivity, the species breeds readily. The attractive coloration and elegant fins of the regal emperor tetra leave little doubt why the emperor tetra was given its name. Introduced to home aquaria in 1960, it has become one of the more popular of the tetra family of fishes. Fins of both sexes have a yellow hue and are edged in black on the outer periphery; they are red where the fin meets the body. The body of the fish is blue-gray with mauve tones, and it displays an almost iridescent sheen. A dark stripe runs horizontally from head to tail, and the body is lighter in color below the stripe.
