OUR PROCESS

 At Texas Aqua, LLC we take utmost pride in the packaging and shipping of our fish. Our process ensures that your fish arrive safe and healthy. The first step of the process involves triple or even quadruple bagging your fish depending on the amount of traveling involved and then lining the bag with opaque liners before filling with pure oxygen before sealing. The bags are packed in thick Styrofoam insulated shipping containers and heat packs or ice packs are provided to keep the water at appropriate temperature.

 Combine Shipping Cost.

  • For Overnight service : ( For Discus, Altum...any big fish ) We already listed shipping cost for these kind of fish. We will try our best to combine but incase of we cannot combine then what we normally do is : if you buy multiple fish, we will purchase shipping label then refund the remaining fees back to your card if any.
  • For any special request on Overnight Service, please email us what you need and your shipping address, We will check shipping cost for you.

Shipping Schedule

Live Fish (Guppy, beta, angle )will be alive up to 5 days and (Discus and Flowerhorn, Goldfish) will be alive under 50 hours without any food and with proper shipping and package. Over the course of 15 years import, export from and to the U.S as well as shipping fish to anywhere in the world from our farm oversea , We hardly have any problem with fish being transport alive, except in same rare cases when the shipment is lost, delay due to extreme weather.

  • We required 4-5 business days for shipping handling, we need fasting the fishes and prepare as perfect as possible to keep the fish healthy before and during transport.
  • Fish will be carefully package in a Styrofoam Cooler Box 1.5 - 2 inches thick with proper insulation and color liner bags to ensure they can tolerate the temperature shift during transport from us to anywhere as well as reduce stress.

UPS: Ship out every Tuesday and Wednesday (Order after 12 on Wednesday will be ship out the week after)

Shipping Option

we have many option but DOA POLICY only legal for overnight service

  • Betta, guppy, shrimp….small fishes : USPS Priority, UPS and FedEx 2nd day air:  No DOA guaranteed. Only guaranteed on UPS and FedEx overnight
  • Discus, Flower horn, Altum angelfish, Goldfish... : UPS and FedEx overnight only
  • For live fish shipping ( we need at least 24 hour to fasting the fish) because it is very important of preparing for the fish to be transport.
  • If the weather conditions is not allowed shipping the fishes. We will communicate with you when the fishes should be ship.
  • Every shipment is covered under our Guarantee Live Arrival policy.

 

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

 To date, we have not lost any fish sent via UPS Next day, FedEx Overnight or Air cargo. That being said, Texas Aqua, LLC does insure all fish shipped with somebody home to receive it.

REFUND AND NON-REFUND

In the unfortunate and rare even that one of your fish arrive dead or entire order arrive dead, you must take 3 clear picture and at least 20 seconds video of the fish in the original unopened bag within one hour of first attempted delivery for submit your DOA claim. After pictures/video received, we will refund the full amount of your DOA fish only if the package is delivered on time. We DO NOT REFUND THE SHIPPING CHARGE BECAUSE IT IS PAID TO CARRIERS.

We will work closely with carriers to ensure the package is safe but we cannot control their operation so please understand this policy.

If Delay occurs in shipment by carrier, we will refund up to half of the fish price by store credit only to support your hobby. We do not refund or responsible on shipping cost for late arrival and/or any other issue from Carriers. 

We willing to take the big loss and ship the replacement fish for DOA fish but customers must pay for the shipping charge. 

DOA only legal on first attempted to deliver. We will not responsible for the package if no one home to receive it or loss package due to carrier. 

Refund will be given in same payment method received.

*You must be present for delivery on the first attempt in order to receive a refund. If a package is refused or returned for any reason then this will void our guarantee.
