• Take care when cleaning the filter media not to do it with chlorinated water or any cleaning agent, or over cleaning it in a way that will remove most or all the beneficial bacteria(biofilm). Some products will directly kill the filter bacteria, such products will have a warning on the back of the package.
Method of use
Use one level measure of the included spoon (1 gram) for every 10 gallons (40 liters) of aquarium water. After 24 hours make 70-100% water change and add the full dose (for the total water volume not only new water). It is preferable to mix the powder well with some aquarium water in an external container then distribute it evenly over the water or pour it in a high flow area (ex: pump return). Recommendation: add 1-2g/L salt along with Bactocide. Repeat the daily for 6-10 days. Do not stop the treatment on the first signs of recovery to avoid re-infection, you MUST treat for at least 6 days. Professional use: In hospital tanks, with no feeding and when using water treatment product to neutralize ammonia a single dose can be extended to 48 hours.

Bactocide 2 is an effective combination of compounds known to have anti protozoan, fungal and bacterial activity for use on ornamental fish. These compounds work synergistically yielding fast and strong results against bacterial, protozoan and fungal caused diseases, while being very gentle on the fish. The fish easily absorb Bactocide 2, making it highly effective particularly for internal diseases.
Indication of use
Swim bladder infection, unbalanced fish that can’t swim upright, bloated stomach, fish not eating with stringy white poop, thick white poop, cloudy eyes, bulging eyes.
Method of use
Use one level measure of the included spoon (1 gram) for every 10 gallons (40 liters) of aquarium water. Leave it for 24 hours then change 70 -100% of the water and repeat the treatment. It is preferable to mix the powder well with some aquarium water in an external container then distribute it evenly over the water or pour it in a high flow area (ex: pump return). Prior to the treatment, clean the filter and aquarium and maintain the filtration and aeration. In case of bloated stomach, we advise adding 20g/100L Epsom salt.
Professional use (follow on your own responsibility): You can extend treatment period to 48 hours per dose; however it is your responsibility to make sure ammonia and organic waste in aquarium (filter, substrate …etc.) is under control. In this case you must stop feeding and use a product that will bind to ammonia and neutralize up to 1ppm ammonia.
Precaution

Not every clear water means healthy fish, but it must be "good water". In a suitable environment, aquarium fish will maximize their beauty with all the most colorful colors. Not only that, fish eat more, thoroughly digest food, absorb many nutrients necessary for the body to grow quickly, with less loss, less disease, and uniform size... When the farming environment changes in a negative direction, it will cause negative effects, causing growth and reproduction to decline. Diseases arise, directly affecting the survival rate and uniformity, especially making the fish color gradually fade to discoloration, and worst of alll, fish die en masse.

To overcome the above conditions, people often use probiotics. Probiotics are biological products containing beneficial living microorganisms. Depending on the intended use, these microorganisms can be bacteria or fungi. When placed in a suitable living environment, these microorganisms will become active. Ammonia comes from aquarium fish and is released directly into the lake. Over a long period of time, if ammonia is not cleaned up, the increasingly high concentration will affect the ability of plants and animals to grow in the lake. More seriously, Ammonia causes fish to lose their appetite, become fazy, and easily die. WORMER X™ is a treatment for ornamental fish infected with parasitic round worms (nematodes) worms. This medication contain Levamisole HCl as main active ingridient. It can be used in a water bath or to prepare medicated feed. Worms can live in the digestive tract or muscle tissue of the sh. In most cases worms will not be visible and infection can be confirmed by microscopic examination of fish excretion. In other cases, adult worms will be seen protruding from the fish anus.

HEXA X™ is a treatment for ornamental fish in case of protozoal and flagellate infection. ex: Hexamita. It can be used either in water of feed. The treatment is also effective against external protozoan parasites. However, to treat external infections BACTOCIDE 1™ or PROTECT X ™ are recommended.
Indication of use fish stop eating, White stringy feces, hole in the head and lateral line erosion aka HITH, Lethargy, dark or dull body color, Hexamita and protozoal infection like Ichthyophthirius multifiliis aka Ich, Cryptocaryon irritans, Tetrahymena pyriformis, Trichodina, Trichodinella, Tripartiella, Costia, Chilodonella…etc.

Food treatment add 2 level of included spoon (1 g) to every 100 gram of prepared gel food and mix it thoroughly. Feed the fish twice a day from this food for 6 days. Recommendation: add 1-2g/L salt along with HexaX. Do not stop the treatment on the first signs of recovery to avoid re-infection, you MUST treat for at least 5 days up to 10 days.

API® AQUARIUM SALT is made from evaporated sea salt and is a must-have for your aquarium! AQUARIUM SALT promotes fish health by improving gill function, making it easier for fish to breathe. Indication of use Treatment of fish infected with parasitic at worms such as Dactylogyrus, Gyrodactylus, Planaria, tape worm…etc. Infection of ukes will cause fish to rub their body or gills against aquarium décor, the gills may also be inflamed and abnormally open or one gill is completely shut. Tape worms may be seen protruding as white segmented string protruding out of the fish anus. To treat round worms like Capillaria and Camallanus you need to use WORMER X™.

GarlicGuard™ is an all natural garlic scented odor and flavor enhancer for freshwater and saltwater fish. Our research has shown that many fish are attracted to natural odors, such as garlic. Simply mix GarlicGuard™ with any food item, such as Seachem’s NutriDiet® Flakes, to attract the interest of finicky eaters, e.g. discus and marine angelfish. GarlicGuard is safe for reef and planted aquariums.

MetroPlex™ is an effective and safe treatment for several protozoan and anaerobic bacterial diseases of fish (Cryptocaryon, Hexamita, Ichthyophthirius). It does not adversely affect the filter bed and is easily removed with carbon. It can either be dosed into the water or combined with Focus™ in a medicated food mix. It will treat both internal and external infections regardless of the delivery method. When used in a medicated food mix, it is excellent for treating parasites in tanks that contain invertebrates. MetroPlex™ is gentle and there little danger of overdosing.

Active ingredients: metronidazole (70%) Inactive ingredients: excipients (30%)

Remove all invertebrates - these are extremely sensitive to medication. Turn off UV filters, ozone filters, and remove chemical filtration like MatrixCarbon™ and Purigen®. Use 1-2 measures (included) per every 40 L (10 US gallons). Repeat this dose every 48 hours for up to 3 weeks or until symptoms disappear.

Dosing in Food

Feed the medicated food mix (recipe below) every day until the infection clears or up to 3 weeks. This medicated food can be refrigerated or frozen between feedings.

After Treating

When the treatment period is over, MetroPlex™ can easily be removed using activated filter carbon like MatrixCarbon™. It does not linger in the substrate or filter media of the tank.

API® MELAFIX fish remedy is an all-natural antibacterial treatment that works to treat infections in fish. Common bacterial infections are open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloud, and mouth fungus. MELAFIX fish remedy also promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue. Product may be used when adding fish to an aquarium – particularly to smooth the transition from store to home – and if an infection is suspected, but not yet diagnosed. Some fish bought in pet stores are already carrying diseases at the time of purchase, which may be difficult to detect in its early stages. API MELAFIX fish remedy will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolor water.

Add 5 ml. for each 10 gallons of aquarium water. For disease or wound treatment, dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change. Continue treatment, if necessary. For adding new fish, dose daily for 3 days.

KanaPlex™ is a blended kanamycin based medication that safely and effectively treats several fungal, and bacterial fish diseases (dropsy, popeye, fin/tail rot, septicemia). Because it is absorbed by fish it is useful in treating internal infections in those situations where food is refused. It does not adversely affect the filter bed and is easily removed with carbon. When used in a medicated food mix, it is excellent for treating bacterial infections in tanks that contain invertebrates. For use in freshwater or marine aquaria.

Dosing in Water

Remove all invertebrates - these are extremely sensitive to medication. Turn off UV filters, ozone filters, and remove chemical filtration. Use 1 measure (included) per every 20 L (5 gallons). Repeat this dose every 48 hours to a maximum of 3 doses. In cases of severe infections, it is possible to carry out two rounds of treatment back-to-back. However, this should only be done if fish show no signs of stress at the end of the first round.

Dosing in Food

Feed the medicated food mix (recipe below) every day until the infection clears or up to 1 week. This medicated food can be refrigerated or frozen between feedings.
